With a lot of rumors going around the new distributor for Xiaomi phones in Nepal, and to our surprise, it was real and worth sharing. Previously, the distribution of Xiaomi phones was limited to Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd. and there’s going to be another one joining the club.
The new member joining the department of distribution is officially announced to be Teletalk Pvt. Ltd. and is now Authorized Nation Distributor for Xiaomi, supposed to handle sales outside Kathmandu Valley. And what caught our interest was the pricing that Teletalk Pvt. Ltd. has put forward.

The price point at which Teletalk Pvt. Ltd. is offering the phones for is really cheaper compared to what Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been offering. Priced just a little above the Indian prices — converted to NRs. obviously — we think this is a step in the right direction and are really going to hike up their sales. Looking at these figures, we can expect a price drop by Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd. too.
We think that the complaint that several Xiaomi fans had in the past was that the pricing was way too high than what a customer pays for the same smartphone in India. And finally, it has been heard.
In the crowded budget smartphone market being flooded day by day, it’s tough for any company to catch hold of the customers and attract them towards the phone they offer. With this price drop, Xiaomi is going to be the best buy for sure and one thing that you can’t deny, with the new pricing it’s going to be a head turner, giving other competitors a tough fight.
