Huawei’s much-awaited P20 has officially hit the shelves of Nepali market. Launched alongside its bigger brother with an unbelievable triple camera, the Huawei P20 shouldn’t also be taken for granted, given how the specs are.
Obviously, there ain’t no triple rear camera on this phone, but the dual Leica lens at the back is something a point and shoot lover would crave for. There’s a set of 12MP and 20MP dual camera at the back. The first one is a f/1.8 RGB sensor with a 1.55um pixel. The latter is a f/1.6 Monochrome sensor. Both sensor cohesively works to create wonder, and with additional features like PDAF, laser autofocus, contrast focus, and deep focus, the P20 is a real deal for smartphone photography lovers. There’s also an AI Image Stabilization that makes your images pop up and non-shaky.
That’s not the only thing the camera has to offer. The Leica optics has a color temperature sensor that detects color and lighting in most of the environment to help users achieve the most from their images. And of course, the trend. The P20 supports slow-mo video recording at an incredible 960 fps.
Now let’s talk about what the front has to offer. The P20 has a ridiculous 24MP selfie snapper. That’s something a selfie lover would love to have in their pocket.
Aside from cameras, the phone’s possibly one of the best and unique looking in the market; all thanks to the twilight color scheme that stands out from other competitors. The display of the phone is another thing that complements the color scheme. The Huawei P20 has a 5.8-inch RGBW screen and 18.7:9 screen ratio, though it’s a Full HD display.
Inside, the phone rocks Huawei’s own Kirin 970 octa-core CPU with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
Pricing and Availability
While the features the phone packs is fancy and intriguing, like every other flagship, users need to pay the price. The Huawei P20 can be purchased for Rs. 74,900 in Nepal.
That’s some huge amount to pay there, however, with the number of exciting features, cameras, and the gradient color scheme I wouldn’t hesitate to pay for something different this time.
So, what do you think about the phone? Will you get your hands on it or just stick with common flagships available in the Nepali market? Let us know that in the comment box below.
