The never-ending saga of Samsung launching its J-series smartphone continues. And this time, to stack up against the competition, Samsung’s new Galaxy J6 2018 has been unveiled in Nepal. Although the J6 2018 totally looks like a modern-aged handset, the internal it comes with will still baffle most of the users.
The implementation of Samsung’s infinity display (18:9 aspect ratio) is a welcome addition here, while the 5.6-inch display is as bright as it gets, thanks to the Super AMOLED panel. Likewise, features like facial recognition and Dolby Atmos speaker could overcome the disappointing internal it has.
Talking about the internal, the Galaxy J6 2018 still has the same old (2 years old, in fact) Exynos 7870 chipset. Regardless of all the goodies it has, this could be a deal-breaker for most of the users; especially Samsung loyalists. Despite the uninspiring hardware, it does come with either 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB variant. At least, a sigh of relief for most of the media junkies.
As far as the camera is concerned, there’s nothing special. The optics of this phone are neither bad nor too good. It comes with a 13MP f/1.9 lens and LED flash. The front has an 8MP f/1.9 selfie snapper with an LED flash either. And because it’s Samsung, you will get those saturated images out of the camera.
Pricing and Availability
For the pricing, the Samsung Galaxy J6 2018 will start at Rs. 24,790 for the base variant, whilst the 4/64GB model will go on sale for Rs. 29,090 in Nepal. Both models will be available through authorized retailers located across the nation with a Ncell offer of 4200MB of free data.
