The sales of two of the most awaited entries of Huawei — Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i will start tomorrow: i.e. 15th August. Both Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i were launched at a dedicated event a couple of weeks ago.
Regarding sales, it’ll be open for just 2 hours for interested users: starting from 5 pm to 7 pm on the first day. Both phones from Huawei come with a trendier design offering the world’s first 24MP four AI cameras, also known as AI quad-camera setup.
Nova 3 will be available at NRs. 59,900 and Nova 3i at NRs. 38,900. The pre-booking of these Nova series from Huawei lasted till 12th August 2018 and was in full swing. Bookings were available at daraz.com.np and the official Huawei Facebook page. For those who already did pre-booking is getting a portable printer with the purchase of Nova 3, and a portable speaker with Nova 3i.
Both the Huawei Nova 3 and 3i packs some interesting features as well as specifications, including a dual-camera setup of 24MP + 2MP (f/1.8) at the front. The secondary camera at the front is used for measuring the depth of the field, allowing users to capture portrait selfies. The rear’s also no slouch either with a pair of 16MP + 24MP sensor in the Nova 3 and an equally impressive 16MP + 2MP sensor in the Nova 3i.
Despite the difference in the megapixel count at the back, both phones are powered by Huawei’s own set of AI technology. The AI is capable of detecting over 200 across eight different categories, including beaches, plants, night, stage performance, blue skies, flowers, rooms, and snow. That’s some serious tech there. You can know more about the AI camera in our separate article.
Inside the Nova 3 is a flagship Kirin 970 chipset also seen on Mate 10 Pro, while the Nova 3i will come with a new Kirin 710 chipset. The Huawei Nova 3 comes with an ample 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the Nova 3i boasts a slightly lower 4GB of RAM.
Regardless of the powerful internals, the duo offers an exquisite design both at the back and front. The front looks nearly similar, with both phones’ display nearly sitting at the size of 6.3-inch. And the 19:9 aspect ratio is something we shouldn’t take for granted at this stage. The back’s totally made up of glass with a gradient like finish, that holds a fingerprint scanner, which should be fast as usual.
