The Honda CB Hornet 160R has been a successful bike for Honda ever since its launch in 2015. And following the success in the Nepalese market, Honda Nepal has recently launched the 2018 version of the CB Hornet at the price tag of Rs. 2,99,900 by Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd.
The new Honda CB Hornet 160R gets a lot of styling updates and major addition of Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) as an option. But, as for now, the company decides to roll out the Combi-brake version of the CB Hornet with dual disk brakes in the Nepalese market following the Indian market. The body design of the motorcycle remains the same, but in the front, it gets the all-new full LED headlamp along with hazard light. The body graphics are now bolder with ‘Hornet’ badging on the fuel tank.
However, CB Hornet is powered with the same single cylinder 162.71cc engine displacement that pumps out the max output of 15.09PS at 8500rpm along with a max torque of 14.5Nm at 6500 rpm integrated with a 5-gear speed box that has the top speed of 115km/h. Similarly, there’s also no change in the tank capacity, fuel mileage, the suspension of the bike. What it misses out is the engine kill switch button even though it gets lots of cosmetic changes and the hazard switch.
CB Hornet 160R is available in five new colors, including the Orange on Grey, Green on Grey, Blue, Red, and Yellow.
