Cubot, a Shenzhen, China-based smartphone manufacturer has now entered the Nepalese smartphone market with its six new models. These six smartphones — including Cubot Nova, J3, R11, Note Plus, Magic, and R9 — have been launched by Kasthamandap Asia International Pvt. Ltd., which is the authorized national distributor of Cubot smartphones for Nepal.
Cubot promises some impressive offerings in their smartphones at reasonable pricing. So, let’s see what the six new smartphone models from Cubot have on offer.
Cubot Nova
Cubot Nova carries a 5.5-inch, 18:9 HD display with multitouch function. It’s powered by the MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor with 1.5GHz clock speed accompanied by 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is non-expandable.
The device seems to offer pretty good specifications in the budget range segment of smartphones. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System.
Similarly, Nova carries a 13MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front.
You’re getting a 2,800mAh detachable battery and two Nano SIM card plus one TF (TransFlash) memory card (128GB) option. Also, the device comes with dual 4G support.
Again, there are three color options for the users: black, gold, and starry blue.

Cubot smartphone seems to look forward to concentrating on the entry to mid-range smartphones in the Nepali smartphone market. All the aforementioned devices seem pretty decent as compared to their pricing.
But, we’ll have to really look at how this company moves forward as there are already other Chinese smartphone brands in Nepal, which have successfully captured a very good share of smartphones purchase.
