Huawei is a household name when it comes to smartphones in Nepal. The company is mostly known for providing value for money mobile devices to the Nepalese mobile phone consumers in recent times, mostly in the year 2018. And, now the company has introduced the Huawei Watch GT smartwatch in Nepal.
However, users will get the Sports version of Huawei Watch GT smartwatch in Nepal while we’ll have to wait to see if another version, i.e. GT Classic, will make it to the Nepali market or not.
Talking about specifications of the smartwatch, it carries a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen display with 454 x 454 resolution. It’s a 46.5 mm watch. Also, you are getting two side navigation buttons.
Huawei has put its own Light OS in GT smartwatch, so don’t hope for any third party apps supporting it.
Similarly, you are getting 16MB of RAM with 128MB storage option in it. But, it seems to justify what the smartwatch is made for, i.e. it’s more of a fitness-centered watch. Look out for the app namely Workouts that tracks workouts like running, walking, swimming, climbing etc.
And, the watch definitely comes with common features such as the compass, alarm, flashlight, phone finder, and so on that you normally expect from a smartwatch. But again, don’t expect it to offer you heavy features and support.
There’s a 420mAh battery which seems pretty enough. Huawei claims that the battery in Huawei GT smartwatches lasts nearly up to a month. The watch is also 50m water resistant and offers heart rate monitor.
Talking about the price, Huawei Watch GT is priced at Rs. 19,990 in Nepal.
