Chinese smartphone companies occupy a very good share of the mobile phone market in Nepal. And, it seems truer if we see smartphone sales over a few years back, mainly in 2018.
With each of these companies trying to be aggressive, customers are also getting benefits as they get different offers on the purchase of their phones, services etc. So, here, let’s talk about Xiaomi, as it has cut-off the price of some of its best-selling smartphones in Nepal: Redmi Note 5 AI, Mi A2 Lite, Redmi 6 and 6A.
The focus is said to gear up for 2019 with a sharper focus on customer centricity.
Here are the smartphones that are getting price cuts:
Device | Price Drop (in NRs.) | New Selling Price (in NRs.) |
---|---|---|
Redmi 6A | 1,000 | 11,999 |
Redmi 6 (3+32) | 1,000 | 15,499 |
Mi A2 Lite (3+32) | 1,500 | 19,999 |
Redmi Note 5 AI (3+32) | 1,500 | 21,999 |
Redmi Note 5 AI (4+64) | 1,000 | 26,499 |
And, all these price drops are going to be permanent. Also, these devices will be up for sales across all sales platforms after the price drop.
Similarly, on the occasion, Sourabh Kothari, General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal said, “2019 is a significant year for Xiaomi Nepal as we enter a new phase of growth with our brand.
