After the initial success with the FZ25, MAW Enterprises, the authorized dealer of Yamaha bikes, has introduced the sports version of the FZ25, the Fazer 25 in the market. The price of the new Fazer 25 in Nepal is set at Rs. 4,14,900.
The Fazer 25 borrows the same engine as the FZ25 which is a 249 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled and oil-cooled fuel-injected single-cylinder motor that makes a maximum output of 20.6PS at 8000rpm and 20Nm of torque at 6000rpm mated with the same 5-speed gearbox as well. However, with all the sporty fairing around the bike, it gains an additional six kg of the weight totaling 154kg.
In the front, it gets the same LED headlight unit but now it gets all the fairing around it making it a bit practical with the aerodynamic gaps. Also, it gets the additional daylight running lights (DRLS) in the front.
The side profile looks more muscular with the fairing which makes the bike looks sporty. But the remaining body remains the same with same design elements that come with the FZ25. The average mileage that can be claimed 35-41kmpl in different riding condition. What the new Fazer misses out is the ABS not even as an option.
