Samsung Galaxy J8 users can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the device joins the elite list of Samsung’s Android Pie phones. Alongside some new features, the Android 9.0 Pie update for the mid-range smartphone will also offer Samsung’s One UI — a new custom interface mostly focused on one-handed use.
The handset also received quarterly security patch — this April — and is expected to receive another security patch within three months.
The update(firmware version J810FPUU3BSD1) is rolling out to users in Russia and one can certainly expect it to roll out in other regions as well, including Nepal.
You can check the update by directly going to the Software Update section in Settings and tapping Download updates manually.
