Huawei sets up a new record for its flagship devices with the P30 series smartphones hitting 10 million sales volume 85 days after the launch, which is 62 days less than that for P20 series. And the smartphone shipments of the company has reached 100 million units on May 30, earlier than that of 2018 when it reached the same volume.
The company has been in a lot of controversies for a long time and it also faced a ban from the US Government to do business with US-based companies, but this now seems to be resolved with the US President Trump saying that Huawei can now do business. While we still have to wait what this really turns into.
Talking about the Huawei P30 series smartphones, they offer a very good user experience, this includes SuperSensing Leica Quad Camera, 10x Hybrid Zoom, long battery life, and a range of colors to choose from: Breathing Crystal, Amber Sunrise, etc. This certainly made some media not even hesitating to call the series, “Best Flagship of 2019” and “Best Phone for Photography”.
Similarly, Huawei is also releasing the latest upgrade of Android Pie operating system, EMUI 9.1, with more customization and enhanced features in batches to different smartphone series — Huawei Mate; P; Nova; and Y starting from now to August.
It’s made available to Nova 3e and P30 Lite from June 24 and June 26 itself, while the Mate 20 series’ users could register from June 27. The updates for other models are scheduled to July and August. And there will be some variations on the upgraded features available to different phone models.
The ‘Incoming Caller Video’ and ‘GPU Turbo 3.0’ features are available to all upgraded series while there are features that are available to selected series only. These include:
- Huawei Share OneHop: Mate and P series
- Moon Mode: Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20X
- Huawei Vlog: Mate series, P series, Nova 4 and Nova 3
- EROFS: All series except Y9 2018 and Nova 3e
