At Square Enix’s E3 2019 we finally got a peek on the new Marvel’s Avengers Game which is being developed by Crystal Dynamics.
The trailer starts off by the Avengers celebrating the Avengers Day at San Francisco when suddenly an attack on the bridge occurs. The Avengers tries to stop whatever was happening on the bridge but everything goes south and the Avengers are blamed for the incident. The crew ends up being scattered. After 5 years of disbanding and the world at jeopardy, the earth mightiest heroes reassembles.
Square Enix also mentioned that the players can play with up to 3 friends in an online co-op match. Furthermore, Marvel’s Avengers will also have iconic moments as well as characters, however, according to Marvel, the game will tend to have an ‘original story.’ In addition, they will introduce a universe gamers can play for years to come, without any loot boxes and DLC including new Marvel characters.
The release date of the Marvel’s Avengers is on May 15, 2020, for Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4. Payers who pre-ordered the game can get a beta version available for PS4.
