Hero Moto Corp has officially unveiled the Hero Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 200T in Nepal at NADA Auto Show. The Xpulse 200 is priced around 3 lakhs 80 thousand, while the 200T will cost 3 lakhs 30 thousand. Both bikes will go on sale in the Nepali market after Dashain.
The Xpulse 200 is an off-road bike whereas the 200T is a tourer bike that receives minor changes.
Both of the siblings get a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation, full-LED headlamp and a LED taillight as well. You also get a service reminder indicator, gear indicator z trip meter and more on the Xpulse range.
The Xpulse 200 comes with a high mounted mudguard and an engine bash plate so that you can have all that off-road fun. Apart from that, it gets off-road treatments like windscreen, handguard, front fender, grab rail, and side-mounted exhaust. Whereas, the 200T does not receives all these treatments. It rather gets a simple and naked look. Likewise, gets the stock exhaust from the 200R plus a 21-inch spoked front and 18 inch rear wheels. Both bikes houses 37mm telescopic forks with double DU bush upfront and to the rear, a 10 step rider-adjustable monoshock suspension.
Both bikes get its power from a 199.6cc single-cylinder 2-valve engine that pumps out 18bhp at 8000rpm and provides a maximum torque of 17.1Nm at 6500rpm. It comes equipped with 5-speed transmission (i.e. Gear) shift and a multi-plate wet clutch and a Digital DC CDI ignition system and is air-cooled.
Braking performance comes from the 276 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear with single-channel ABS as standard.
