Hero Moto Corp has unveiled the all-new Xtreme 200S at NADA Auto Show in Nepal. The 200S is a fully-faired sports bike based on the Xtreme 200R street fighter. The sports version is the first fully-faired sports bike after the Karizma in ages. The bike is priced at Rs. 3,20,000 in Nepal.
The bike gets a new design which is not too aggressive in appearance instead Hero has given it a retro-looking sports bikes which look calm and composed. The front houses a sleek-looking bar-style LED headlamp cluster with a slim fairing. The flat handlebar, alloy wheels, and the exhaust muffler have also been carried over from 200R.
It now gets a step-up seat on the bike to add a sporty touch. Apart from that, it features LED taillight, engine kill switch, and a digital instrument console shared with the Xpulse 200. The unit comes with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, service reminder, gear indicator, trip meter and more.
The 199.6 cc single-cylinder engine that powers the Xtreme 200R pumps out the same 18.1 bhp and 17.1 Nm of peak torque mated with a 5-speed gearbox and gets multi-plate wet clutch. The retuned suspension set-up includes 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock unit at the rear. It gets 276 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear with single-channel ABS as standard. Hero claims an average mileage of 36.9kmpl.
The Xtreme 200S is available in three colors: Sports Red and Mapple Brown and Panther Black.
