Huawei’s recent entry, the Y9 Prime 2019 is already receiving the EMUI 9.1 update. The update brings in GPU Turbo 3.0 along with enhanced performance and revamped wallpapers as well as icons.
The Y9 Prime 2019 firmware switches the file system to EROFS, which Huawei claims to improve the random read speed of the phone by 20%.
The EMUI 9.1 update is seeding in India for now and will roll out in other markets as well soon, while we are still skeptical about the release dates.
