CG Moto Corp., the authorized distributors of Maruti Suzuki cars in Nepal, has introduced the all-new six-seater XL6 MPV in the country shortly after it was launched in the Indian market. The MPV is based on the Suzuki’s Ertiga which now receives major changes to give it an SUV like stance. It is available in two trims – Zeta and Alpha and is priced at Rs. 46,99,000 for the Zeta Trim and Rs. 47,99,000 for the Alpha Trim.
The XL6 gets all-new aggressive looks with a raised hood and a larger hexagonal grille with slat. It gets new quad-LED headlamps integrated with the LED DRLs. At the side, the XL6 gets blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, scoop outlines, and plastic side-body claddings. Likewise, at the rear, there’s a revised bumper with cladding and a faux skid-plate.
The interior’s basic layout is carried straight from the Ertiga but has an all-black theme with premium stone finish and rich silver accents. Both variants get Suzuki’s new Smart Play Studio 7-inch infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
It now comes with comfortable seats bolstered with premium leather upholstery. The 6 in the XL is the number of seats that it offers. Its gets three-row seating formation: 2+2+2. The second row gets captain seats which can be reclined and also has overhead a/c vents. Likewise, it also has 3rd-row seats that can be reclined. The top-spec Alpha additionally gets automatic headlamps and a rear parking camera.
The XL6 is powered by K15 petrol engine with Suzuki’s Smart Hybrid Technology with Li-ion battery. The K15 engine produces a maximum power of 103 Bhp @ 6000rpm and maximum torque of 138Nm @ 4400rpm and will be available in a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options.
It is equipped with safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belts with Pre-tensioners and Force Limiters, ISOFIX child seats, high-speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors standard across all variants; and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with Hill Hold function is offered as a standard feature in automatic variants only.
The XL6 is available in six color options: Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Grey, Premium Silver, and Arctic White.
