NIU Nepal has launched the new NGT electric scooter in Nepalese market with an introductory offer price of Rs. 3,98,888. However, the price will be hiked to Rs. 4,25,000 after the NADA Auto Show.
The NGT looks similar to the previous N series scooter but receives certain changes. It now houses a new Smart Dashboard which displays different colors for different riding modes, speeds, and vehicle diagnostics to inform about the scooter performance.
It gets a tailored motor by Bosch GmbH, FOC Vector Control, and Panasonic Battery Unit. LED Headlight, LED Turning Light, LED Taillight, LED Rear Light has also been carried over from its counterpart. Apart from that, it gets an LCD Dashboard, cruise control, Central Control Unit, USB Charging Port, and Dual-Piston Hydraulic Disc Brake.
The major difference between N series and the NGT is that it is powered by a dual 60V/35Ah battery which increases the driving range. One additional battery increases the range up to 170km that depends on riding modes. For two batteries it also gets two charging points for constant charging which will take up to 3.5 hours. There are three modes: E-Save, Dynamic, and Sport. It manages to go up to 70kmph.
For the safety, it gets CBS Braking, EBS Energy Recovery System, Auto-Off Indicators, Vehicle Locator, etc.
