Xiaomi has taken the wrap off the much-awaited Redmi K20 Pro in Nepal. The device is an epitome of what Xiaomi could offer and also one of the few flagships from the company to hit the Nepali market after the Pocophone F1; which, by the way, sold like hotcakes.
Similar to what Pocophone had offered the K20 Pro also somewhat stands true to Xiaomi’s DNA of providing killer hardware for fraction of a price. The phone has a powerful Snapdragon 855 SoC which pairs with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, also expandable via microSD card. With such powerful internals, you are assured to get a smooth performance while multitasking as well as gaming. Also, the handset has Game Turbo 2.0, which handles your task to offer more resources for gaming. And the mode also makes use of a smart switch from WiFi to 4G for zero lag and effortless connectivity.
Come to the front and you get a seamless 6.39-inch OLED display which is Full HD+ in resolution and offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the hidden pop-up camera, the front of the phone looks clean with virtually no bezels. Underneath the display hides an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Talking about the pop-up camera, the mechanism hides a 20MP selfie shooter with AI capabilities. As for the rear, the triple camera configuration comes with a normal 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, and finally an 8MP telephoto lens.

Redmi K20 Pro Pricing and Availability
The Redmi K20 Pro goes on sale for a price of Rs. 49,999 in Nepal for the 8/256GB variant. The phone will be available for purchase through retailers as well as Daraz Online Shopping in three different color options: Flame Red, Glacier Blue, and Carbon Black.
Being a flagship from the company and keeping international pricing structure in mind the Redmi K20 Pro was sure to command a higher price tag in Nepal. But still, the price of the phone and the value you get from it trumps most phones out there in the market. If you are looking for a solid device with such powerful internals, you can’t go wrong with the Redmi K20 Pro.
Xiaomi also launched the Redmi K20, a mid-ranger with decent specs and price.
