Renault Triber set to launch in Nepal at NADA Auto Show 2019

Renault Nepal is all set to unveil the all-new sub-four meter MVP — Triber in the Nepalese market at the NADA Auto Show 2019. The new seven seated MVP is based on the same CMF-A platform as the Renault Kwid and gets European styling as the carmaker has taken a very fresh approach.

In terms of design, it quite resembles the Kwid and the Capture as well. It gets the black grille with chrome treatment which is flanked with the sharp-looking projector headlamps. The car also gets muscular bumper with LED DRLs and black underbody cladding with silver skid plates.

The side profile is where the Triber looks like a mini MPV due to its large window and elevating shoulder line. The 16-inch alloy wheels with flared wheel arches, side cladding, and scooped rooflines with roof rails certainly adds some physique to it. And the rear has a wraparound tail lamp and a roof-mounted spoiler.

The interior seems to be upmarket with a newly designed dashboard with dual-tone treatment. It houses eight-inch infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets a 3.5-inch LCD screen in the instrument cluster. The middle row seats can be manually adjustable and can be reclined as well. With the presence of the third row, the Triber only gets 84l of boot space. As the third row can be manually folded and can also be removed manually it can get boot space of 625l.

Underneath the Renault Triber is its sibling Kwid’s 1.0-litre (BR10), three-cylinder petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT making 72hp and 96Nm of torque. On the safety notes, it gets dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and a speed warning system as standard.

The price of Renault Triber in Nepal is yet to be known but is expected to get revealed alongside the vehicle at NADA Auto Show.
