The all-new Toyota Camry Hybrid (XLE) has been launched by the United Traders Syndicate Pvt. Ltd in the Nepalese market with a price tag of Rs. 1,31,00,000. It is a luxury Sedan by the Japanese manufacturer.
The front seems to be quite new for the market as it gets a lower bold front grill while on top sits the logo with thin chrome effects. It gets swept back headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The muscular line is defined by the sweeping curves, sculpted surface and a strong haunch over the rear wheel arch. It gets 18-inch silver machine-finished dual-shaft spokes wheels giving it a distinct look. It gets the wraparound tail lamps at the rear making it look wider.
The car length at 4885mm, width is 1840mm, and height being 1455mm and gets wheelbase of 2825mm. It increases the interior space which gives more legroom and headroom. The interior is elegant as it gets faux wood treatment tinted with a metallic texture and new Y design that separates the room between the passenger and the driver. The interior features 7-inch TFT Multi-Information Display (MID) with customizable settings, heads up display, three-zone climate control, rear power sunshade, leather upholstery, adjustable rear seats, and touch controls on the armrest for rear passengers.
Powering the Camry Hybrid is the 2487cc four-cylinder petrol engine which manages to get a maximum power output of 178hp @ 5700rpm and maximum torque of 221nm @ 5200rpm. It is mated to permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 88kw (120hp) and maximum torque of 218hp. The Camry Hybrid comes with four driving modes: EV, Eco, Normal, and Sports.
The safety list includes nine airbags, vehicle stability control, ABS with ESS, hill start assist control, 360-degree camera, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
