Lava launched its new smartphone dubbed Lava Iris 43 in Nepal with a price tag of Rs. 5,899. The phone runs on Android Go based on 8.1 Oreo and is powered by the Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. Let’s take a brief overlook over the device.
Lava Iris 43 carries a 5-inch screen with 480×854 pixels resolution. The processor used is a quad-core one clocked at 1.3GHz that bundles up an ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU.
In terms of memory, the phone sports a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal on-board storage with a memory expansion option up to 64GB using a dedicated microSD slot.
As for the camera, Iris 43 features a 5MP camera on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front. There’s a 2000mAh battery that looks pretty reasonable against phone’s specifications.
What seems interesting is the use of Smart Face Unlock feature.
The Iris 43 definitely provides good specifications. And the face unlock is definitely impressive, however, we too have to check in order to check how good it is.
Overall, it would be interesting to see how the phone performs in the Nepali market in the low-budget range segment.
