With gaming smartphone amassing plenty of attention recently and smartphones like Asus ROG Phone out of the sight; Nubia — a subsidiary of ZTE has gone on to unveil the gaming-centric Nubia Red Magic 3 in Nepal. The phone is available for purchase exclusively through Daraz Online Shopping as a part of the Dashain Dhamaka campaign.
Being a gaming smartphone, the Nubia Red Magic 3 certainly delivers in performance. And it does so with its cooling fan, a first of its kind on smartphones which evoked a lot of attention in the mobile gaming industry. On top of that, the phone doubles its cooling technology with an active liquid cooling, which Nubia claims is 5x more effective (with 500% heat distribution) in dissipating heat than any other passive cooling phone.
Games like PUBG will be more enjoyable to play on this phone, not only because of the cooling but also the capacitive shoulder triggers that mimic the nature of shoulder buttons on gamepads.
Besides that, the phone has a LED light strip that is customizable to your liking, while the pogo-pin can be used to connect other peripherals.

The Nubia Red Magic 3, at the front, carries a 6.65-inch AMOLED screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch refresh rate. The front has thick bezels, and Nubia has done nothing to remove it whatsoever, but that’s just normal with gaming smartphones. Additionally, the phone can be spec’d-up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
Apart from gaming, the phone is quite capable in terms of the camera as well. While gaming smartphones won’t top the “best camera” chart anytime soon, the Nubia Red Magic 3 does its best with a single Sony IMX586 48MP sensor that can record 8K videos of up to 1920fps.
Inside, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset — not the ‘Plus’ variant seen on ROG Phone 2, but it’s still powerful. The battery is of 5,000mAh capacity with support for 27W fast charging.
