Suzuki Gixxer 250 now available for purchase in Nepal

After being launched at NADA Auto Show, the all-new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is now available for purchase in Nepal for Rs. 4,61,900. The Gixxer 250 has a resemblance to its smaller sibling, the Gixxer 155.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 flaunts its aggressive looks with the sculpted fuel tank with the extended shrouds at either end. The new LED headlamp unit gives an unsullied look to the design, while the split seats and LED taillight adds sportiness to the motorcycle. Apart from that, it gets a new all-digital instrument console, Gixxer’s dual muffler exhaust, and brushed finish alloy wheels.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 shares the same engine with the SF 250, as it gets 249cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with fuel injection that pumps out 26 bhp at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm, mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine comes equipped with the Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) tech that works efficiently to reduce engine temperatures.

The bike uses telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. It offers disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard. The Gixxer 250 has a ground clearance of 165 mm while the seat height is 800 mm. As it is a naked street bike, it loses out on five kilos than the fully faired sibling which stands at 156 kg.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is available in two colours: Metallic Matte Platinum Silver/ Metallic Matte Black; and a Metallic Matte Black.
