Huawei teases its Nova 6 5G on Weibo which shows the device will soon make its way to China. The video teaser showcases the front of the phone with punch hole housing dual selfie lenses, highlighting the capability of these cameras to zoom out resulting in a wider selfie.
However, the teaser doesn’t clarify the exact launch date of Nova 6 5G. On the other hand, its resemblance from the sub-brand Honor, the Honor V30 is launching on the 26th of November 2019.
The Honor V30 has a triple camera set-up on the back, which is more likely to be featured in Nova 6 5G as well.
Similarly, another Weibo leak regarding the Nova 6 5G shows that the device will carry a 6.44-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080p resolution. Also, it’ll get powered up by the Kirin 990 processor with an embedded 5G modem. It will come with a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
As for the optics, Nova 6 5G is said to feature a 60MP Sony IMX686 lens with an additional 16MP ultrawide lens along with a 2MP dedicated macro and a 2MP depth sensor.
Talking about the pricing, Huawei Nova 6 5G is rumored to be priced at CNY 3,499 for an 8GB/128GB variant while the 8GB/256GB variant will cost CNY 3,799. Similarly, the 12GB / 256GB will cost CNY 4,099.
