Realme 5 gets an upgrade with an ‘s’ moniker, i.e. Realme 5s in the form of a new 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor for the main camera at the back.
The Realme 5 had a 12MP main sensor, whereas, the Realme 5s keeps other rear camera sensors the same, i.e. an 8MP 119° ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Similarly, the Pro version also flaunts the same camera sensors.
The Realme 5s moreover, gets a new color availability: Crystal Red, the previous colors being Purple and Blue. As for the memory, the device comes in 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB variants, with external memory expandable up to 256GB.
About the display, the Realme 5s gets the same 6.5-inch screen with 720p+ resolution. It’s powered up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. And it carries a 5,000mAh battery.
The device, for the first time, will be up for sale on 29th November on Flipkart at 12 noon as well as on Realme.com. The 4GB/64GB variant will cost INR 9,999 ($139) while the 4GB/128GB variant will cost INR 10,999 ($153). Later on, it will be available in all stores too. The Realme 5 and 5 Pro costs INR 10,000 and INR 14,000.
