Realme CMO, Xu Qi Chase has officially teased the upcoming Realme X50 5G on Weibo. Previously, the company had launched the X2 Pro; a flagship with SD855+ SoC and many other premium specifications.
The post also hints the design of the X50 5G: two camera sensors in the upper left corner housed in a punch hole.
Chase also discussed the logic behind the phone’s name. The X in the name refers to the X lineup, which Realme sees as a pioneer series with all the new technologies implemented. Similarly, the 5 refers to the upcoming 5G generation of smartphones and 0 refers to the new beginnings, much like the 5G-enabled future of the mobile phone business.
The device will work on both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks that allow smooth transition as well as much larger coverage of the next-generation connectivity.
