Samsung has revealed the Galaxy A51 and A71 smartphones in Vietnam. These two are the first ones to make it to the company’s A-series lineup in 2020.
Let’s quickly jump into what these devices bring on the table for you.
Samsung Galaxy A51
The new Samsung Galaxy A51 brings a 6.5-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a fingerprint sensor embedded. Similarly, the display carries a punch hole at the top center giving a home to a 32MP selfie sensor.
On the other hand, the A51 carries a mirror back featuring a diamond-cut design. The back also sees an L-shaped quad-camera set-up that includes a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor with 123-degree FOV, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. These sensors get complemented with Smart Switch, Live Focus, and Super Steady Video modes.
The phone gets a quad-core Exynos 9611 chipset based on 10nm technology paired with an 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD card slot. Out of the box, the device boots on Android 10 OS with Samsung’s own One UI 2.0 on top.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 carries a 4,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. As for colors, it’s available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush Pink.
About pricing, the Galaxy A51 starts at VND7,990,000 ($350). The pre-booking starts on the 16th of December while the sales will start on 27 December.
Samsung Galaxy A71
The design aspect of the new Samsung Galaxy A71 resembles similarity to the A51 while they differ from each other in terms of specifications.
Talking about the display on the front, it’s a bigger 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with the same aspect ratio as in A51 but with slightly less pixel density, i.e. 393ppi. Similarly, it also has a slightly bigger punch hole at the top center that gives room to a 32MP selfie camera.
Underneath, it gets the Snapdragon 730 chipset based on 8nm technology paired with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that can be expanded using the microSD card slot.
The Galaxy A71 also gets an L-shaped quad-camera set-up at the back, while the camera specifications are similar to the A51 with one being an exception, i.e. a 64MP main sensor in place of a 48MP one.
Powering the phone is a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charge support.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is available in the same four color options as the A51 while there are still no words regarding its price as well as availability.
