Vivo’s ever-growing smartphone lineup is set to welcome a new member — the Vivo S1 Pro. The premium mid-ranger is expected to make its debut possibly at the end of December in Nepal with the slogan that says “Upgrade Your Lifestyle”. But we’ll have to wait and see if it really delivers on that.
About the specs, the Vivo S1 Pro sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. The display sees an optical fingerprint scanner, while just beneath it is a Snapdragon 665 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, we are not sure if it will hit the market with the same memory configuration.
Taking look at the back is what appears to be a unique diamond frame that holds four cameras: a 48MP, f/1.8 wide camera + an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture + a 2MP, f/2.4 dedicated macro lens and finally a 2MP, f/2.4 depth sensor. The video capturing capability, though, remains at 1080p @ 30fps.
For selfies, you get a 32MP sensor that is tucked inside the waterdrop notch at the top. It’s an f/2.0 lens with 0.8µm of pixel size which can capture videos at 1080p.
Other noticeable features include a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging over a Type-C port. The phone also supports Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack for your favorite pair of headphones.
As for the pricing, Vivo is yet to unveil it. However, judging by the footprint we expect Vivo to come up with an aggressive price for the phone.
Stay tuned to us for more information and future updates about the phone.
