In recent news, Sony’s PlayStation 5, which was supposed to be in the market on holiday of 2020, is about to be disclosed within days as stated by an anonymous source. This anonymous source from 4chan affirms that he is a “Sony insider”.
Furthermore, several features that were rumored to be in the console were confirmed by the leak, which comprises backward compatibility for all PlayStation titles, remote play and to be able to log into your PlayStation account on any device. It also suggests that the console will cost about €449 in the UK and $499 in the US.
Moreover, in the matter of the launch event, according to the rumors the event will be held by Sony on February 5 in Sony Hall in New York City. But it’s just rumors which are yet to be confirmed by Sony.
Last year Jim Ryan, CEO at Sony Interactive Entertainment wrote in his blog that “Since we originally unveiled our next-generation console in April, we know that there’s been a lot of excitement and interest in hearing more about what the future of games will bring.
