After much anticipation and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite has finally made its way to reality. Both phones carry a similar 6.7-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O display and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
To talk about the Galaxy S10 Lite, the phone gets its power from a 7nm octa-core chipset with a bunch of CPU running at a clock speed of 2.8GHz, 2.4GHz, and 1.47GHz. Although Samsung has not confirmed it yet, the specs match with the Snapdragon 855 chipset. The CPU pairs with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
As for optics, the S10 Lite sports a triple-camera configuration of 48MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 lens and 123-degree FOV, and finally a 5MP dedicated macro shooter; all these sit on a square frame. The punch hole at the front holds a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Adding the cherry on the cake is Samsung’s all-new Super Steady OIS, making the S10 Lite the first phone to debut with this feature. Meaning, the camera on this phone is more capable than its flagship counterpart.
Now about the Galaxy Note 10 Lite — it comes with an S-Pen, of course, with Air Command support. Samsung, again, didn’t unveil anything about the phone’s chipset but the Note 10 Lite has a 10nm chipset with octa-core CPU with four cores clocking at 2.7GHz and remaining four at 1.7GHz. This could be the Exynos 9810 with a low clock speed CPU. The RAM, on the other hand, stays the same at either 6GB 0r 8GB with 128GB storage.
At the back, a similar square frame sees a trio of sensors with a primary 12MP f/1.7 lens with Dual Pixel AF and OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor and lastly a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto lens.
Both the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite will come with Android 10 and One UI 2.0 out of the box. The former will be offered in Prism White, Prism Black or Prism Blue color option, while the latter will come in Aura Black, Aura Glow, or Aura Red color job.
As for the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will start at €649, while the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will cost €599. Both smartphones will go on sale by the end of Q1.
