With an entrance to a new decade, the year 2020 seems to bring many exciting tech innovations, particularly in the smartphone domain. One such includes the foldable smartphone technology that recklessly convenes the come back of the ‘clamshell’ form factor with full foldable displays.
After Motorola Razr, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip (previously rumored to be the Galaxy Bloom or Fold) is in the course.
LetsGoDigital, on the basis of earlier teasers and live-image leaks regarding Samsung flip phone, has come up with few mockups renders of the upcoming foldable phone.
And the mockups offers plenty of hints regarding how the upcoming Samsung phone could look like. The hinge resonates with the one seen in the Galaxy Fold. There is a power button at the lower portion on the right side while the volume rockers reside on the upper right portion. Similarly, right next to the main dual camera sensors and a single LED flash lies a small external display.
The display on the inside, on the other hand, has a punch hole residing a rumored 10MP selfie shooter. The device is rumored to power on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Also, it is said to support super-fast charging of some sort for the dual-battery setup, one of them said to be a 900mAh while the capacity of another one is still skeptical.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip could be the first consumer smartphone sporting a foldable glass while other foldable ones feature plastic-based materials. The display size numbers to 6.7-inch when wholly unfolded.
With very few known about, there are many questions on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold left unanswered. Anyway, we could possibly see it get unveiled at the incoming Samsung’s Unpacked event scheduled next month. Thus, stay tuned for regular updates.
