Code Rush, a girls-led software development startup in Nepal is initiating the ‘Code Like Her Fellowship 2020’. It is a six-months-long national level fellowship that looks forward to building solid technical skills in Nepali girls pursuing Information Technology and Engineering degree thereby widening tech opportunities.
Undergraduate students, recent IT, Engineering or related graduates can apply for the fellowship of which 12 will be selected for the free fellowship. It’s designed for passionate and enthusiastic female tech students as well as fresh graduates seeking a career in full-stack development. And it’s solely intended to equipping cutting-edge technical skills thereby strengthen their confidence in the field of technology.
Also, the fellowship looks forward to addressing the minor involvement of women professionals in the Nepalese IT industry.
Participants will get the opportunity of coding boot camp that comprises lectures, workshops, projects, and more to make sure that they master both technical and professional skills.
The fellowship is divided into two modules — split into the time frame of three months each. The first of which includes intense training starting from scratch while the second includes projects, which are assigned to each candidate. And it includes proper certification, graduation ceremony, and placement opportunities.
