After unveiling the Realme X2, Realme Nepal has put its bet on the Realme 5 Pro with specs that are pretty much on par with its counterpart.
Starting off with its internals, the Realme 5 Pro runs on Snapdragon 712 SoC which is a minor upgrade from the SD 710, mostly on GPU side. On the memory side, the device is available in two configurations: 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB — both are UFS 2.1 storage and can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Taking a look at its camera, the Realme 5 Pro features a quad-camera setup. A 48MP primary sensor that has f/1.8 lens with PDAF, plus an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP dedicated macro lens, and finally a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portrait shots.
Selfies are taken care of by a 16MP f/2.0 sensor hidden behind the waterdrop notch at the top. Just below it is a 6.3-inch LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Realme 5 Pro has a 4,035mAh battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 charging over Type-C port. Alongside that, the phone also comes with an AI Freezer function that is able to study users’ habits and adjust the running background apps to save power. The device boots on Android 9 Pie on top of Color OS 6 with a planned upgrade to Android 10.
