Chinese smartphone maker ZTE officially announces the ZTE Axon 10s Pro, the very first device in the world to boot on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.
The Axon 10s Pro design, as well as specifications, show a major resemblance to last year’s Axon 10 Pro. The 10s Pro flaunts the same 6.47-inch AMOLED curved display with a 1080p resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. And the display incorporates an under-display fingerprint scanner underneath and a water-drop notch at the top.
Similarly, the optics in the all-new Axon 10s Pro also remains unchanged with a 48MP primary sensor that outputs 12MP pixel-binned images alongside a 20MP wide-angle lens (125 degrees), and an 8MP telephoto lens. On the front, is a 20MP selfie sensor.
Regardless, the 10s Pro brings a major improvement in the processor — Snapdragon 865 SoC while the 10 Pro had the SD855 silicon chipset. This brings enhancement in the performance, graphical processing, as well as 4G and 5G connectivity.
On top of that, the device comes with WiFi 6 support and Link-Booster, which allows a smooth transition between WiFi, LTE or 5G networks thereby enhancing the connectivity.
As for the memory configuration, the phone gets a 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM alongside 256GB UFS3.0 based onboard storage. Although, it comes in a 6/128GB memory variant as well.
The ZTE Axon 10s Pro packs a 4,000mAh cell with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support.
ZTE is yet to announce the launch date and the price of Axon 10s Pro. Although, pricing anywhere around the Axon 10 Pro seems to be a great deal.
