From now on you can pay for the JLPT aka Japanese Language Proficiency Test application fee online in Nepal using the Khalti wallet. Khalti has collaborated with the Japanese Language Teacher’s Association Nepal (JALTAN), responsible for administering JLPT in Nepal, thus bringing the online payment facility for the test. The application fee numbers to NPR 3,000.
Before this, students had to visit the JALTAN office located at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu in order to pay the fee.
To make the payment, you can fill up the online form, which will direct you to the online payment page asking to enter your respective Khalti ID. Upon completing the process, the payment can be made.
Similarly, talking about this new facility, the Director of Khalti, Mr. Amit Agrawal stated, “We are excited to partner with JALTAN to provide Khalti’s easy online payment services to all JLPT candidates in Nepal. Now the candidates can pay the exam fee easily from their mobile phone. Also, those who do not use Khalti can pay the fee at their nearest Khalti Pasal.”
