The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro was unveiled in March of last year. So, we were expecting the OnePlus 8 series to launch somewhere around the same period. But a recent report from TechRadar India, with a close source from the company, says that the new series will hit around mid-April.
OnePlus, on the other hand, hasn’t said anything about its upcoming OnePlus 8 lineup. But if we look at previous leaks, the company could launch three smartphones under this lineup — the normal variant, a Pro, and a Lite version.
However, it’s debatable if the Lite model will hit the market alongside the vanilla and Pro variant; again, there’s no reason to think why it won’t.
While users in Nepal have to wait for a while to get their hands on the device, the International, as well as the Indian market, will get to see the launch happening at the same time, as usual. OnePlus, lately, has been putting emphasis on the online launch, and it looks like the company will take a similar approach due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
