Nepal Telecom (NTC) brings the “Zero Balance Package” offering limited call-time, data, and SMS to eligible subscribers, particularly the prepaid ones for a week amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Here are the eligibility criteria to avail the package:
- Must have made a minimum one call from 24 March up to 31 March (11 Chaitra up to 18 Chaitra), i.e. the first week of lockdown
- Must have had the main balance below 33 paisa on 19 April (Baishakh 8) mid-night
NTC Zero Balance Package Features
- 50 minutes talk time (within NT network only)
- 100MB data
- 25 SMSs (within NT network only)
If you meet all the aforementioned criteria then you must have already received a message from NTC stating the package. And you need to reply to the message accordingly within 2 days to notify. Afterward, you’ll get a confirmation message from NTC.
Besides, those who fail to meet the aforementioned criteria can opt for the Namaste Credit service as NTC has also cut additional charges on the Namaste Credit service. It comes without a call drop while you need to send “start”, “status” or “stop” to 1477 to activate, know the status, and stop the service respectively.
