Original, 20 April 2020 (09:25 PM NPT): OPPO is pushing the pedal to the metal lately as they launch yet another mid-range phone, this time it’s the OPPO A52. The phone went official in China earlier today with a quad-camera setup, Snapdragon 665 chipset, and an impressive 5,000mAh battery.
Taking a look at the front, there’s a 6.5-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution as well as a punch-hole cutout that makes space for an 8MP selfie camera. The screen’s pretty tall at 20:9 aspect ratio, but it misses out on in-display fingerprint scanner for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone also has dual-speakers.
The rectangular plate at the back makes room for an L-shaped quad-camera setup that includes 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Inside, the OPPO A52 has the Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD. Powering this phone is a humongous 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. The phone ships with ColorOS 7.1 UI layered on top of Android 10.
Pricing wise, the OPPO A52 can be purchased for CNY 1,599 (~$255/~Rs. 30,000) in black and blue color variants. The company is yet to disclose its international availability including in Nepal.
