Oppo is shipping its A52 alongside the more capable A72 in Germany. Although dates and locations are yet to be revealed, they could supposedly make their way to European countries in the coming days.
About the devices, both share the same 6.5-inch (presumably an LCD) screen with a 1080p resolution. They also have the same Snapdragon 665 SoC paired along with a 4GB RAM.
The Oppo A52 sports a quad-camera setup at the back comprising a 12MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front has an 8MP selfie snapper. Meanwhile, the A72 comes with better cameras — a quad-camera setup at the back including a 48MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front has a 16MP lens for selfies.
Both devices get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm jack at the bottom, and a 5,000mAh cell with 18W fast charge capacity to keep their lights on.
The A52 and the A72, though differs in terms of onboard storage, the first getting a 64GB storage while the latter has 128GB. Nonetheless, both phones do come with a microSD card slot and will ship with Color OS 7.1 based on Android 10 out of the box.
OPPO is yet to unveil any price as of now. However, the Oppo A52 is said to cost CNY 1,600 in China, so this could work out at €210 in Europe keeping European taxes and such in mind.
