Realme Watch has officially launched in India at INR 3,999. It boasts a square front and a UI that will remind you of an Apple watch or the likes of Amazfit wearables. Let’s take a brief overlook of the device.
The Realme Watch is no different than any other cheap fitness trackers or wearables in the market. However, it’s surely one of the most affordable ones in the Indian market.
The device flaunts a 1.4-inch TFT LCD color screen lying underneath 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3. The company is offering a number of watch faces, a bunch of which are still to come with future OTA upgrades. It features neon-on-black UI alongside four different color straps — black, blue, green, and red. Realme is shipping the black strap in default while charges an extra INR 499 for the other ones. Also, users will miss out on the Realme yellow in the mix.
The specifications are similar to any other wearables including step, sleep, heart-rate, and calorie monitoring. But the new ones include blood oxygen (SpO2) indexing and 14 different sports modes. Realme Watch, in the default watch face, shows the steps, heart rate, calories burnt, time, date, and weather.
Similarly, notification alerts include calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, drinking water, standing up, etc. On the downside, the watch restricts replying to such notifications. Users can still control music as well as unlock their Android devices using Bluetooth 5.0. Although cheap, Realme incorporates IP68 dust and water resistance in the watch.
The Realme Watch will go for sale as of 5 June 12 PM Indian Standard Time (2:30 AM Eastern Time) via the official Realme website alongside Flipkart. The company will be selling further straps on the following dates. Realme also revealed their Smart TVs at the same event.
Again, Realme has not really opened about launching the watch in other parts of the globe. Stay with us as we will be posting every development.
