As expected, Xiaomi has taken the wrap off the new Mi 10 in Nepal. The launch also marks the return of a ‘true’ flagship from the company after a gap of two years — the last being the Mi 6.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 brings some of the best features a premium flagship could get, it also debuts a few first of the kind features in Nepal. The crown jewel of this phone is non-other than the 108MP camera, which is the highest megapixel count in any device, also the first to have it in Nepal. It has a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 108MP main shooter with an 8P lens, a 13MP ultrawide unit, and 2MP depth and macro shooters.
The 108MP sensor offers OIS and EIS with plethoras of AI features for still video recordings, including an ability to shoot 8K videos.
Apart from that, the phone brings Snapdragon 865 chipset, the first phone to have it in Nepal, accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The phone also has LiquidCool 2.0 with a large vapor chamber with multi-layer graphite and graphene stacks to dissipate heat while gaming. It does support sub-6GHz 5G but misses the microSD card slot.
The front of Mi 10 sees a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, just like its ‘Pro’ sibling, with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Xiaomi says the display can reach up to 1200nits of peak brightness and offer 4096 levels of brightness adjustment and DC dimming.
