Update, May 27, 2020 (7:25 PM NPT): Xiaomi Nepal has teased yet another upcoming release, this time in its Mi Note 10 series. The company, through social media posts, mentioned its upcoming device to carry an “epic design and display from Mi Note 10 family”.
And by looks of the image (below), it’s none other than the Mi Note 10 Lite, which was launched earlier this month in the European market.
The Mi Note 10 Lite flaunts a 6.57-inch display alongside the Snapdragon 730G chipset, a decent 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, and a massive 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast charge support.
Prior to this, Xiaomi teased us with the possible launch of Mi 10 in Nepal — you can check it by scrolling down to our original article. We believe both devices will launch alongside each other, though Xiaomi has not revealed any launch date for either.
Original, May 26, 2020 (7:15 PM NPT): Xiaomi Nepal has teased the launch of what could possibly be the new Mi 10 on its social media pages, most notably on Facebook and Instagram. If you look at the image (below), you can see that it portraits a big camera lens that makes a shape of ’10’, which we think indicates the Mi 10 smartphone.
Xiaomi, through the post, also tells users to get ready for “Lights Camera Action” — possibly pointing out Mi 10’s swashbuckling 108MP rear camera. Other than that there’s no mention of anything — not even the release date.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 is a premium flagship from the company which, besides the 108MP camera, include Snapdragon 865 chipset, 5G support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 512GB of storage, and a humongous battery.
Xiaomi just became the number one smartphone brand in Nepal launching a few of the most sold entry-level to mid-range smartphones — the Redmi 8 and Redmi Note 8. And now, we believe the company would bet on a high-end flagship with its Mi 10 in the Nepali market. But again, the information that we have is pretty vague so we can’t totally say it’s the Mi 10 — it could well be any other phones from Xiaomi’s Mi 10 series. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and see what unfolds.
Stay tuned to us for more information and let us know in the comments if you think it’s the Mi 10 or not.
