Daraz, the leading e-commerce platform in Nepal has started to support product payment via eSewa mobile wallet. Prior to this, Daraz allowed users to pay either through the “Cash on Delivery” or “Card Payment” method. The eSewa payment method could be convenient if you do not want to readily provide your card information to Daraz or fiddle with the change while dealing with cash.
You can proceed to the eSewa payment option as you would earlier — add a product to the “Shopping cart”, “Check out”, and “Proceed to pay” and select “eSewa Mobile Wallet” option. Then, Daraz will redirect to eSewa to complete the payment. Just follow the given steps and make the payment.
- Login to your eSewa account using your eSewa ID and your Password
- Ensure your eSewa account is active and has sufficient balance
- Enter OTP (one time password) sent to your registered mobile number
