OPPO’s two new A-series members, the OPPO A52 and A31 is now available for purchase in Nepal. The OPPO A52, on one hand, brings an L-shaped quad-camera setup, while on the other, the A31 has a triple-camera setup.
Both the A52 and A31 shares a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, but the former has a 1080p resolution, whilst the latter sees a 720p panel. Nonetheless, both come with a 20:9 aspect ratio and output a similar 480 nits of brightness.

As for the cameras, the A52 is a bit superior on this front: both have a 12MP main sensor but the A52 gets a slightly bigger f/1.7 lens, plus it also has an extra 8MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture. Aside from that, both phones have 2MP macro and depth modules. For selfies, the A52 comes with a 16MP front camera cramped inside a punch-hole over an 8MP sensor on the A31.
Inside, we have Snapdragon 665 processor on the A52 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. For the A31, the phone rocks a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with a similar memory configuration.

Powering the OPPO A52 is an impressive 5,000mAh battery, whereas on the A31 it’s a 4,230mAh battery which is not bad considering its low-res screen. However, the A52 has 18W fast charging carried out via USB-C port as opposed to a microUSB port with no fast charging support on the A31.
