Vivo has launched a new low mid-range smartphone, particularly in the Y series, the Vivo Y30 in Nepal. The device comes with an HD+ punch-hole display, a rear quad-camera setup, face unlock, and a hefty 5,000mAh battery.
Built with polycarbonate on both sides and back, the Vivo Y30 sports a 6.47-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution, and 19.5:9 ratio translating to around 266 ppi density.
The phone gets powered on a pretty disappointing 12nm based MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 octa-core chipset paired aside a 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard eMMC 5.1 storage. It runs on the Funtouch 10.0 OS atop Android 10.
The Vivo Y30 carries a quad-camera setup including a 13MP wide, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor at the back while a single 8MP wide sensor at the front housed inside the punch-hole.
The device uses a non-removable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging to keep the lights on. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, and compass and a loudspeaker aside a 3.5mm headphone jack for sound. It’s available in Emerald Black and Moonstone White colors.
