Women in Big Data Nepal, a Nepalese affiliation of Women in Big Data US, with support from Girls in Tech Nepal is organizing a virtual panel discussion on the topic “Belt Your Data” for data enthusiasts on July 19, 2020, Sunday.
The discussion will air on ZOOM as it aims at sharing knowledge and facts on data breach, which is described as any incident exposing confidential or protected information, focusing on the context of Nepal thereby promoting data literacy and awareness.
The Women in Big Data looks forward to strengthening diversity in the big data field. Based in the United States of America, the community was formed in 2015 with an aim to encourage and attract more female talent to the big data and analytics field. The Women in Big Data Nepal was launched in May 2020.
Moving on, the discussion will feature three panelists: Dovan Rai, Data Scientist, and Education Coordinator; Narayan Koirala, Managing Director of Eminence Ways Pvt. Ltd.; and Prabin Subedi, Lawyer with specialization in Information Communication Technology Law, disseminating awareness on data breach and prevention to an estimated total of 500 participants.
Audiences can ask related questions to the panelists and discuss one-on-one during the event. The community believes the event as an opportunity for participants to collect ideas on different “Data Breach” domains from the experts.
