Xiaomi launched the new 34-inch Curved Gaming Monitor alongside a number of other products including the Mi Smart Band 5 and True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic (Global version), Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2, etc. amidst Xiaomi Ecosystem Product Launch 2020.
The Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor is already up for sale starting at €399 (US$455) in Europe.
The new gaming monitor from Xiaomi is touted to be much cheaper than any other others with comparable specifications. It flaunts a 34-inch 144Hz Wide Quad High Definition (WQHD) display with 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. The degree of curvature numbers to 1500R much like any other gaming monitors. Unfortunately, Xiaomi didn’t even mention the panel, however, it could well be a VA panel considering the 300 nits peak brightness while missing out on the HDR compatibility.
To keep the cost minimum, Xiaomi chooses the AMD FreeSync instead of the Nvidia GSync.
The Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor is said to feature 16.7 million colors covering up 121% of the sRGB spectrum. And users can always play around with the height, angle, and even the swivel, all thanks to the magnetic mount. The monitor comes with two HDMI and Display ports.
