One of the bestselling compact SUVs from Suzuki, the Vitara Brezza car will now be available only in the ‘petrol’ variant as the company has decided to retire its diesel variant, which took the market by storm.
The new petrol variant gets some cosmetic changes but looks aesthetically the same. Under the hood, it now gets the 1.5l petrol engine that churns maximum power of 105 PS @ 6000rpm and maximum torque of 138NM @ 4400rpm mated with five-speed manual transmission and automatic transmission (with smart hybrid). According to the company, the average mileage of the Vitara Brezza car is 24.3kmpl.
It features a new front grille and a new dual-function LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps. The interior of the Brezza looks the same but now it seems to be upmarket with slightly better interior quality. Apart from that it also gets a touch screen Smart Play infotainment system that comes with Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity, automatic climate control, etc.
Other feature includes Auto Headlamps, Auto Wipers, Skid Plates, 16-inch Alloys, Rear Wash/Wipe, and Mood Lighting for Speedo Console, Multi-function Steering Wheel, Voice Command, Cruise Control, Electric ORVMs and day/night IRVM, etc. However, it still misses out on the Sunroof and rear a/c vents. The changes in the rear section are limited to the aggressive new bumper and stylish LED tail lamp. Nonetheless, all the changes do provide up to date looks.
On the safety list, it gets dual airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across the range. The compact SUV is going to come with a reverse parking camera with sensors. In addition to this, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), ISOFIX Child Seat Mounts, Reverse Parking Camera, Reverse Parking Sensors, Day and Night IRVM are on offer.
