Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS motorcycle has launched the all-new 2020 BS6 Apache RTR 200 4V in Nepal through a live event. The new RTR 200 is priced at Rs. 3,39,000 in Nepal.
The 2020 TVS Apache’s key visible changes are the distinctive-looking headlamp which is sharper than the previous unit in terms of design. It features a full-LED lighting system along with aggressive LED DRLs. However, the tail lamp and turn indicators are the same conventional unit. The rest of the body does not get any new updates as it continues to get a muscular and sculpted fuel tank, split seat setup, and dual-barrel exhaust apart from the new set of graphics that feature on the headlamp unit and on the fuel tank.
This one is powered by the same 197.75cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, an oil-cooled mill that churns out 20.2bhp at 8500rpm and 16.8Nm at 7500rpm mated with five-speed gearbox assisted by raced tuned slipper clutch technology. But the new RTR 200 gets TVS’ Race Tuned-Fuel Injection ‘RT-Fi’ technology. It also features first-in-class GTT (Glide-Through Traffic) technology for a smooth low-speed ride. However, it only gets a single-channel ABS system.
The bike also features an LCD instrument cluster that has Smart X-connect Bluetooth connectivity as standard. The new console helps to track your lap times, top speed, and lean angles, and with the phone connected, riders will be able to receive calls as well as text alerts and use the turn-by-turn navigation feature.
TVS is offering the 2020 Apache RTR 200 4V in two paint schemes — Gloss Black with red highlights and Pearl White which also sports red highlights. And now it goes head to head with its biggest competitor the Bajaj’s NS 200 in the Nepali market.
