Husqvarna, a Swedish company owned by Austrian KTM AG, has launched the most anticipated bikes in Nepal: Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250. The Svartpilen is a scrambler, whereas the Vitpilen is a café racer-style bike.
The Vitpilen 250 gets ergonomics and functional directness of the café racer format. It also has a clip-on handlebar. On the other hand, the street scrambler Svartpilen gets taller handlebars, the metal cladding on the fuel tank, and dual-purpose tires, setting it apart from its sibling.
The bike is styled in retro-futuristic Swedish design as it features modern aesthetics inspired by its bigger siblings. Upfront it gets round LED headlight with DRLs integrated, LED turn indicators, LED tail lamps, round single-pod digital instrument cluster, angular fuel tank, High-quality WP APEX suspension with upside-down forks, Strong and lightweight steel trellis frame, 17” cast aluminum wheels, Bosch Dual Channel ABS system, and High-quality components and technology.
The 250cc Husky Svartpilen and Vitpilen machines borrow the same engine from the KTM 250 Duke which churns out 248.76ccs, Max Power of 30 PS @ 9000 rpm, and Max Torque of 24 Nm @ 7500 rpm, mated with a six-speed gearbox, Multi-disc slipper clutch, and Bosch EFI fuel system.
It gets WP APEX 43 mm USD forks and WP APEX Monoshock in the rear. Brakes are taken care of by 320 mm front disk brakes, and 230 mm in the rear along with the Dual Channel ABS system borrowed from the KTM. It gets a ground clearance of 145 mm and a tank capacity of 9.5 liters only.
Both Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 comes at a price of Rs. 5,69,900 in Nepal.
